  • Keeping Schools Safe
Dear Parents, Students and Community Members,
In light of recent events, we are reminded of the importance of safety and security in our schools. Members of our staff have been trained on the specifics of our emergency operations plan. We conduct periodic drills to prepare students and staff for their role during a possible crisis. Our schools also have specific entry protocols and we appreciate the understanding of parents as we continue to enforce these protocols.
In addition, we are asking parents to please speak with your children about making any kind of comment or threat regarding gun violence at school. Students who make a threat, even jokingly, will be handled with extreme seriousness. We ask that all students remain vigilant and report any comments regarding violence to staff. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
The safety of our students remains our highest priority.
