The Lyford Athletic Department is responsible (in partnership with campus principals) for physical education classes for pre-kindergarten through 12th grades. In addition, students who enroll in athletics in middle and high school may participate in UIL sports competition which includes football, basketball, volleyball, cross-country, track and field, tennis, soccer, golf, baseball, softball, and power lifting. The goal of the athletic/PE department is that students acquire valuable life skills, including the importance of physical fitness, teamwork, respect for others, self confidence, responsibility, conflict management, etc. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the office at 956-347-3914 x 209 or you can e-mail any questions or concerns to neida.quilantan@lyfordcisd.net.
