LCISD in partnership with Willacy County School Districts, GEARUP, Upward Bound, TSTC, and Region One will be hosting College & Career Family Night this Thursday, March 26, 2026 at the Willacy County Housing Authority from 5:30PM - 7:00PM. This event is open to families district-wide.

Lyford Consolidated Independent School District (LCISD) is providing notice of its intent to apply for the Texas ACE 21st CCLC grant, in accordance with Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements.
Program Overview:
• Provides afterschool and summer learning opportunities
• Supports academic enrichment, youth development, and family engagement
• Prioritizes students attending Title I and high-poverty campuses
A copy of the complete application may be requested after Feb. 17, 2026 for public inspection at the Lyford CISD Administration Office during regular business hours.

Lyford CISD will resume regularly scheduled classes, bus routes, and district operations tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Friendly reminder that instruction begins at 8:00AM.
We would like to thank our parents and community for their patience, understanding, and continued support as student and staff safety remained our top priority. As cold temperatures persist, please ensure students are dressed warmly, especially those waiting at bus stops.
We appreciate our strong partnership with our LCISD families and look forward to returning to regular schedule.
