Former Student Record Requests

Lyford CISD and the Office of Human Resources accepts student record requests from LCISD alumnists and/or immediate family members.  Searches are conducted based on the information provided by the requesting party. Phone or verbal requests will not be accepted. Any requests for school records of former students of Lyford CISD must comply with the following procedures:
 
Graduates
    • Transcripts will be issued from  Lyford High School  for individuals who graduated two years prior to the current school year.  Contact Counselor's Secretary by calling 956-347-3909 ext. 279. Graduates who do not follow under this category will need to contact the Human Resource office.
    • Responses to completed searches will be delivered via regular mail, unless other arrangements are made with the Counselor's Secretary.
    • For transcripts and/or records from more than two years prior to the current school year please contact the Office of Human Resources.

 Non-Graduates or Graduates (more than two years prior to current school year)  :

    • Contact the Office of Human Resources located at 8240 Simon Gomez Blvd., Lyford, TX 78569 or by calling 956-347-3902 .
    • Must complete a district form with all needed information and must provide a copy of a valid driver's license or I.D.
      If requesting a record for someone else, you must also provide a copy of their driver's license or I.D. along with written consent from former student.

Additional Information:

  • Requests are completed on a first-come first-served basis.
  • Requests may take up to 10 business days to complete.  Some requests may not be completed due to insufficient information, missing/lost records or other unforeseen circumstances.  In these rare occurances, the requesting party will be notified of the failed search.
  • Original completed request forms must be returned in order for search to be initiated. If fax or email is submitted, record will not be released until original form is received.
  • Record searches may be requested and released to immediate family members only (i.e. father,mother, brother or sister).
  • Responses to completed searches will be delivered as indicated on the request form.
