Reminder: Youth Summer Meal Program! ☀️🍎
LCISD would like to remind families that our Youth Summer Meal Program begins June 1 and runs through June 30.
-Monday - Friday
-Locations: LES Cafeteria & LMS/LHS Cafeteria
-Breakfast: 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM
-Lunch: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Meals are free of charge for all children 18 years and younger, as well as enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21.

Title 1 Parent Surveys Now Available!📝
The purpose of this survey to assist your child’s school with their school improvement plans. An important step in the school improvement process is to hear from everyone in the school community including parents. Your individual answers will be kept anonymous and will be tallied and reported with the answers of all other parents. Complete one survey per student according to their designated campus. Public Notice of Intent to Apply
Lyford Consolidated Independent School District (LCISD) is providing notice of its intent to apply for the Texas ACE 21st CCLC grant, in accordance with Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements.

Program Overview:
• Provides afterschool and summer learning opportunities
• Supports academic enrichment, youth development, and family engagement
• Prioritizes students attending Title I and high-poverty campuses

A copy of the complete application may be requested after Feb. 17, 2026 for public inspection at the Lyford CISD Administration Office during regular business hours.

This grant opportunity would support our efforts to provide meaningful enrichment opportunities for our students and families beyond the school day. We remain committed to exploring programs and resources that enhance student learning and engagement.
